Appointments

Appointments are a standard 15-minute consultation booked well in advance for specific doctor. If you require additional time with the doctor or nurse, or have multiple issues to discuss please inform reception at the time of booking. There may be an additional charge for this doctor appointment. 

Non-routine appointments for urgent illness will be accommodated on the same day with the doctor on call, only your urgent illness will be dealt with in this consultation once you have been assessed by one of our practice nurses.

 It may be helpful, if you are comfortable to, to inform the practice secretaries the nature of your urgent request to facilitate your appointment.

Cancellations

Appointments are in high demand and if you cannot attend please let us know as soon as possible as this will allow us to facilitate another patient. We have a regular waiting list for same-day appointments.

House Calls

Most issues are best dealt with in the Surgery where the full facilities and equipment are available. Many unwell patients can safely be brought to the surgery where they can be seen as soon as possible. In the event that you need a home visit, please call the surgery before 11am so that we can reschedule other appointments.

South Doc out of hours GP cover take over at:

6pm to 8am Monday to Friday

9am Saturday until 8am on Monday
